I spent around to 6 hours talking with 6 different Belkin representatives, and finally get a solution. Can't see how its the router, since the desktop has no problem connecting to it. Go to My Network Places, and on the left theres a thing that says "show all UPnP devices" or similar. It turned out to just be a simple cable issue and everything is now running as it should.
