It helped me to solve the problem fairly easily!But I have something to add to this fix that make it so much easier!You can simply ‘attach' the drive in Windows 7 You may need to defragment the disk first so that enough empty space is available to remove. The strange thing is that other developers who followed the same steps were successful in creating a VM from the same VHD and I believe that they also have Win-7 Enterprise
