Also, those other applications have standard build and install setups as far as I know and are included in a number of major distros. Log into the system using the user running Hudson, go to hudson home, go to your job directory, go to the workspace, and try to perform git commands. Once that patch has been approved, it is pushed on to the Release Manager who has final say on where the patch will be applied.
