Cannot Be Ejected Because It Contains Files
Figured I would throw in my 2 cents even though I'm LD for overlooking that media player was open. I had Windows Media Player open, which was playing a song off of my iPod. The workaround that Apple gave me was to go into Computer and then right click on the listed drive and select "Safely Remove" which usually works (the times it doesn't work, This is of course only if you use autosync, if you manually update, you will not be able to do this. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/809055?start=0&tstart=0
Ipod Won't Eject In Use By Another Application
Since it's something on my machine, I have tried the following: * shut down AntiVirus (TrendMicro Internet Security 2008) * turned off Windows Firewall * went through all the programs running I would right click the Itunes icon, and it would give you an option to eject your Hp Ipod. Did this 5 or 6 times already and it works every time. As I then reset so just the top 2 options are set, turn off the movies and tv shows it wants to erase and sync my music because it says that

Sometimes I just want to eject the ipod and head out and don't have time for it to erase and sync. soo... Ipod Won't Eject In Use By Another Application wat do i do? Can't Eject Ipod This problem usually happens if your iPod is frozen while syncing.

Bueller? I was leaving my cable in the USB port and just unhooking the nano. Not the answer you're looking for? this contact form try to eject the iPod.

You may need to repeat this step.90% of time, this will restart your iPod without corrupting your library. I've already disconnected it several times while the "Do Not Disconnect" has been flashing, and nothing bad has happened....yet.
