We know the problem is not with the server, because any computer not running Yosemite can join the domain without any issue. Once that was done I was able to connect with the local user (matching the AD one) and the desktop, docks and all the files and settings came back. It is a Yosemite only problem, and pretty disabling as far as being able to move forward with new computers. Any ideas? Upgraded to Yosemite, bind still works.I am working from home today, no issues logging in.
