I was able to run the plugin from the console, but no from Nagios. It should already do this. Doing this would then let me browse everything on the internal lan, even the other remote systems. I'm still waiting for your feedback before I can close this.
If you were using Network Manager PPTP then this would be done automatically for you. BTW, is it possible to make pptpsetup to save my password? The Linux client makes no such guesses as to your intent.Basically you need to set up routing for your ppp device so that your system knows what to do with traffic But I still don't think you need to use pptpsetup more than once.

Downloading RPM's, kernel mod, I'm learning here! This special behaviour is likely to disappear in further releases, fix your scripts! But as a normal user I get only an error. And I couldn't find "ip" > anywhere in the system files.
