As far as JOCL, I am interested to see if it can improve performance. http://www2.isye.gatech.edu/~wcook/qsopt/downloads/codes/java/applet.htm William ========================================= Java Plug-in 1.6.0_24 Using JRE version 1.6.0_24-b07 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM User home directory = C:\Users\WHP ---------------------------------------------------- c: clear console window f: finalize objects on finalization queue g: The fix is to check to see if you are running the code in the event dispatching thread. I'm not really doing anything stellar with JOGL but I did use an FBO to render to texture and then both a Vertex/Fragment shader in GLSL for the blur effect on asked 6 years ago viewed 10031 times active 6 months ago Linked -3 Can someone tell me what this means? 0 Java - repaint JPanel 2 times in one method 0 E.g for simple sorting its already after about 30k elements (http://jogamp.org/jocl/www/gpusort.png). Java.lang.error: Cannot Call Invokeandwait From The Event Dispatcher Thread

Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks! Please don't fill out this field. It has the same effect as calling run() on the Runnable object directly. In addition, I attempted to run the Gears demo (applet loader only version http://jogamp.org/jogl-demos/www/applettest.html ) and I get the same results.

Can anyone tell me what should be the idealapplication I should be using for solving a linear program. I can post a more complete example if neccessary.  Any help would be appreciated. Interestingly, I can also reproduce the same problem in Firefox on all platforms (and in Safari) with your applet's "Previous (threaded)" and "Next (threaded)" buttons.  The problem seems to be that https://sourceforge.net/p/javaplugin/discussion/371125/thread/256cb8a5/ Principal developer of DrJava.

However, I can't change the code that calls this method. How do you dispatch to your own thread and then wait for yourself? Patton 2011-03-28 12:51:43 UTC William H. Thank you very much for the comments. It also runs OK in the Applet Viewer started separately, without DrJava. If you do not, then the screen will only be updated at what seems to be random times (when another window moves in front, perhaps). I'll see what I can do to fix this.
