Might look different with other setup. Another thing is that the first time you launch after expiry [in my case this happened yesterday], the TMT software invites you to supply a registration name of your choosing (if There is no point not to use spdif in this situation. if changing the volume level digitally) the AVR should give an audible result no less than a 24-bit source. Why is that? I haven't been following this issue closely but I noticed the following comment at post #646 of the AVS thread Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre:- Originally Posted by Cap.T I've got a question Sample 1 (left click here then right click and 'save as' at the download site) is an extract of a take of the TMT109 DDplus combined with the inverse of a http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/a-guide-to-stutter-free-playback-with-reclock.45834/page-6

My preference is TMT for TrueHD and PDVD for everything else. Seems a little weird to me; I would rather just activate now and be done with it. Sign in here. This issue has also been reported in the AVS Arcsoft thread.I've actually been contemplating getting Total Media Extreme instead, which is basically TMT plus Blu-ray authoring and camera capture, for only

It is certainly needed. Everything I tried yesterday played without problems and the design and funcionality is very impressive. With 30% off it is worth it for PQ and TrueHD alone. The Cyberlink PDVD forum seems a bit of a joke to me.

The 1536Kbps DD+ on the King Kong disc sounded much better than using the S/PDIF downmix. Reclock 64 Bit I am eager to let us know your findings. Samples 3 and 4 are slightly different from each other, but I suspect may be almost indistinguishable by ear. https://www.avforums.com/threads/htpc-codecs-players-help-configuration-thread-ffdshow-coreavc-mediaportal-etc.652538/page-8 Sample 4 (click here then right click and 'save as' at the download site) is an extract of 9 seconds of the DDplus as decoded by PDVD3370.

And the smooth way it functions makes PDVD look clunky. It does not downsample TrueHD like PDVD and WinDVD did and make TMT the program of choice until there is a proper hdmi solution. Both PDVD (with CLMEI) and WinDVD send sound to all speakers in a 7.1 analog setup with a 5.1 soundtrack. The samples are 96KHz/24bit wave files, around 5MB each. (Please download each only once and save, to avoid exceeding the download bandwith limit.) Cheers, MLXXX Edited March 23, 2008 by MLXXX

Reclock 64 Bit

Problem is PDVD and WinDVD downsample TrueHD to DD+ level (my guess) so they sound about the same to me. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=39887&page=34 And every time I load a disc it starts playing with PDVD. Reclock Windows 10 BTW. Does that mean TMT doesn't instal any codecs of its own?

It has a bug waiting to fix for DD+ with no sound to right side speaker if I disable rear speakers. In Arcsoft the bitrate is constant at 448 kbps.

At such a high (unrealistic) setting, it is likely the program material will be uncomfortably loud; unless it has been recorded substantially below full volume. But I am afraid I have to keep using PDVD with DD+ and too bad most disc are DD/DD+ only. TMT extreme does offer some interesting features and to have it all in the one package for a few dollars extra would be handy. http://electrictricycle.net/cannot-change/cannot-change.html I suppose it can't be this easy and some sort of problem will turn up soon.

One possibility is that the code has expired and Arcsoft have not updated their website. I've had no problem with the sound quality of DD+ tracks compared with PDVD. You would simply use this to activate the trial version you had previously downloaded. (Just a guess based on software I have purchased from other suppliers.) Probably no need to uninstall

I can only output 2 channel stereo using spdif from all software players and level is low too.

Sample 2 (the DDtrue version) is different from samples 3 and 4 if listening carefully. Does anyone know how I can stop this annoying Cyberlink takeover bid?

It comes up with invalid when you try to update price with coupon code. I can't find anything that shows "time remaining" on a disc. Yet to be revealed. Also I expected a whole lot of new codecs for Arcsoft to appear in VMV decoder utility. this content
 pietro 2,554 posts Posted March 25, 2008 · Report post It seems to me that Arcsoft are much better at

With 30% off it is worth it for PQ and TrueHD alone. But every few seconds the timing jumped a little out of synch! BTW the new 110 update is mainly to fix a problem with ATI Catalyst 8.3 whatever that is. And I like the sound.

Doesn't seem likely. Yes he is me. When I first used my HTPC, I connnected it to the AVR via an optical cable. It is like comparing Overlay and VMR9 with Zoomplayer and DVD.

May be it is my system but they all sound different to me. With it enabled HDDVD/BD playback seems to use 30-40% CPU (a little more thatn PDVD) With it unticked CPU goes up to about 50% I've tested a couple of each type TMT always have 2 speakers silent. TMT play DD+ poorly, even pump up the volume won't help.

Only through TMT I know PDVD mislead me to believe DD+ and TrueHD sounds the same which in fact is night and day.
