Now with AD 2008, you can also create Fine Grained Password Policies which supplement the domain password policy and you are able to target users and groups. I have tried myself with extremely long, complex passwords but it will not take it.

I've tried 5.x and 6.x installations of Drupal and the correlating version of the plugin with no success. We want complexity enabled, and has been for a while now, but just started not allowing manually changing through ctrl alt delete. Will do so soon.
