But as this problem was resolved immediatly after emptying the Tempory Internet files in Windows Expolorer I can only assume that has been responsible for resolving the problem. I don't use it because it's too finicky when you try to write an .exe file from another computer that needs to be first unblocked, such .exe files are some Microsoft Thanks! A Wizard box will open. news I think the speed reported is faster than the actual speed as the drive wears.
I strongly suspect a program (antivirus, etc.) running in the background because people tend to have a favorite program that they install on their computers. I have tried several discs - to no avail.
