Basically, all Sysprep versions go in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\sysprep directory but in a separate sub folder specific for each OS. Et voila - after this the guest customization was working as expected! If you install Converter in it’s default location then obtain Sysprep in the same methods already discussed and place the files in the same locations as vCenter.
