I had the same problem on my epix...by any chance, is your 6.1 device on AT&T? click site I would set it so this was the connection to be used, and then try to get on the internet. So when I go for example onto internet explorer, it will not go anywhere.. Try to install and connect PdaNet on a different computer and see if you get the same problem.
