Any help would be much appreciated. Upon restart of the service you could edit the connection string. I mean try to make the server not to work. You cannot rate topics.

You cannot post IFCode. If I use the MDX SamplApplication (Server: servername, Provider:MSOLAP), it can connect tthe FoodMart database and return data. Hope that someone out there may have a solution that they can share in this post. It could be more than one thing has changed, so check your server logbook for possibilities (you do have one, right?) Is the Analysis Services service running?

A similiar connectiostring works on other systems.
