No security software installed, connection to internet working properly. I don't know if you have SSH access on your hosting account, but if you can get it, scp'ing is a really fast way to transfer files. The only solution we could find was to use secure FTP, which does solve the problem.It doesn't seem right to me that (despite its insecurity) standard FTP does not work, but Using OSX 10.9.3 Mavericks.
