Method 3 - Set IE as Default Program You can also set IE to be the default program for opening links by going to Control Panel, clicking on Default Programs, then I can if IE is the browser but not if it is Firefox. Uninstall Google Chrome or Firefox if you do not need them any longer, and hopefully you won't have any problems with links in your Outlook ever again.
