NO one turns their router off every night unless you have a very rigid usage pattern that this does not interfere with. the only reason I questioned it is because I have never had a router. I'd rather not have it at all if I have to go up and down 2 flights of stairs to turn it off and on all the time. The beauty of a wireless router is it can be used at any time from anywhere in the coverage area. click site

My problem has been accessing the router itself. You will see 3 or 4 lines that start either with "Reply from ... " or "Request timed out." If you see "Reply from ...", your computer has found your router. A black DOS box will appear. If you get this far without problems, try the setup disk (or setup the router manually, if you prefer), and see if you can get your router setup and working.
