One of my secretaries' computers USB keyboard and mouse all of the sudden decided not to work when attempting to wake it up from sleep. Thanks dude. We can assume that Gigabyte expects most folks to be installing Windows 8.x, and has a default out-of-the-box configuration that supports that. When I get the screen that says press any key to boot from CD, it won't recognize any key at all. lol, i think i restarted about 20 times and by reading this very usefull post it turns out its the keyboard. They also work fine in the BIOS.

It had an option that was called windows 7 installation and windows 8 installation.
