If you're trying to connect from outside the firewall, you'll only be able to connect to the computer you've forwarded 3389 to, by specifying the external IP of the firewall. Its a little difficult to explain all the specific details in text, but I hope you get the picture. Internally, on our LAN, clients through both RDC and via the http://servername/tsweb address works fine. Have you tried simple things like swapping out the NIC cable to see if something odd is there, try a different switch port? useful reference

The only thing I can think of is that might be some little setting in the registry or something similar that is preventing me from using these services over the internet.
