Heres my fix: Unplugged all hard drives except the one with windows installation (in my case C: drive) Windows booted as normal. i would like to disable or uninstall windows defender as i can access the command prompt but i can't find how to do ?

No way it will boot into Windows. If we have ever helped you in the past, please consider helping us. Ive tried using msconfig from safe mode, to turn off the safe boot option. To enter System Recovery Options from the Advanced Boot Options:Restart the computer.As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until Advanced Boot Options appears.Use the arrow keys Trying to fix now. Plz help.
