Once you determine the proper key (usually the F11 key) that you need to press to access the Boot Menu, restart your computer again and start immediately tapping that key. Like magic, when your PC reboots you will be able to boot into Safe Mode from the familiar looking Advanced Boot Options screen. Under Source click on the Browse for file button, then navigate to the location where you previously saved the Kaspersky Rescue Disk utility (kav_rescue_10.iso), then click on the Write button. This FAQ is too complicated to comprehend. Probably there is, but I not very familiar with the forum, yet. I need help oh and I tried the turning off trick so that it realizes that windows didn't start, but it goes to that error 17 code.. When the antivirus scan has completed, you can restart back into Windows regular mode, by clicking on the Kaspersky Start button (lower left corner), and selecting Restart.
