Hope this helps someone else! Right click Properties on the network connection you are using. What finally worked for me was to add an entry to the Host. I tried various things like changing workgroup name etc. news
Things to check include: The Backup User Identity The Mapped network drives on the system The Network paths in BackupAssist Any user specified credentials on the Destination tab of the backup Select Connect. I hope WIN 10 will improve in the future, but what happened the last two weeks would have been killing me if it would have been my business computer as I here's hoping, thanks yessss!! I looked into the differences between the various SMB levels, looked like a bunch of larger-system stuff that didn't really apply. Here are a few suggestions for what to try next: Make sure the computer is connected to the same network as the NAS.

Change this to the username of the account on the NAS you would like to access the NAS with. Can't Access Nas Windows 10 I deleted my credentials for the NAS device in Control Panel > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials, and then reset the SMB settings as indicated in this post.
