Interestingly, I removed my HomeGroup and yet the other PCs indicate that there is still a HomeGroup present and available to be joined with. Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site. On trying to then join the created homegroup with my laptop (running Windows 7 x32), the only option to proceed is to create another homegroup.
