I found this video and follwed step-by-step, still no luck for me but thought I'd share in case it helps for others. Viewing the Network option using Windows Explorer on the Windows 7 PC and double clicking my XP PC, I could now see all my Shared Folders and Printers and following some And finally (this is what has worked) I started one service in the XP machine. The solution: Upgrade the Home Premium Edition of Windows 7 64-bit to a higher version, in our case we went with Ulitimate. Although I didn’t have that issue when sharing the root of a hard drive installed in my pc. Sometimes remembering just where exactly is every option in different OSs is a problem. Any other thoughts?

Tried everthing including removing McAffee firwall. I only have one "wife" and I use my wife's laptop occasionally. Anyone else run into this issue? i thought you had the other problem. I have no issues accessing the shared folders (vista/xp) from win7 machines.
