I understand that windows forgot how to make a decent UI after XP, but that's not my problem. Use Windows Vista Style Drive Icons You can also customize the drive icons in Windows XP to give them the same Vista bar graph underneath that shows the disk space. You can change the setting by double clicking the entry, and then in the "Startup type:" select (Manual/Automatic). FIX.

Tried all the other published solutions that seemed to work for others, but none of them worked for me.
Speed it up! If I go to Desktop, Customise Desktop, Web, there is a checkbox at the bottom called "Fix desktop icons" or something like this (not sure how it's called in the English I have tried everything but no results.
